I got my hair cut Tuesday. It's a short bob, with full bangs. Since then everyone has to tell me that I look like someone. So, far I've gotten Prince Valiant, Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka, Amelie (so far the most common comparison), Anne Rice, Catherine Zeta-Jones in Chicago, Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, and Anjelica Huston.
The thing is, I was going for a "celebrity" look -- only it was Louise Brooks.

well. i said both amelie AND willy wonka. so do those cancel each other out?
Louise Brooks--I'm guessing you just don't keep company with people who know her.
Therefore, all those other people are actually copying Louise Brooks. So, in a second-hand way, they are meaning Louise Brooks.
Does that count?
I'm really not sure that those cancel each other out, max, but since I just adore you so much I'll give you a freebie. ;-)
mia, yeah, I know people probably don't know Louise Brooks by name. So maybe that counts. Except for the Willy Wonka one... I just don't think he was supposed to resemble a flapper.
Touche.
